Ways to make 5

In maths this week we are exploring ways to make 5 and 10.
 

Today we used beans bags and hoops. We had to count out 5 beanbags each and took in in turn to throw the beanbags at the hoop. We then had to count how many beanbags landed in the hoop and how many landed outside. We then used our fantastic maths to record it on our special maths whiteboards as a number sentence.
