Butterflies, butterflies, butterflies

Wow,  Mrs a Heath did share the exciting news that two of our butterflies had hatched out of their cocoons yesterday and I was really looking forward to seeing them this morning. Well, when I went to look just as I arrived in school, I was amazed as I counted 7 beautiful butterflies. When I next checked not that long after and was ready to take some photos, I was shocked to see that 4 more had hatched, with two or more starting too. 

All the children have had a careful look and we have given the butterflies some more sugar water and fruit to help them continue to flourish and have put them outside in the canopy so they can enjoy the sunshine. 
 

I wonder how many we will have later!
