We have butterflies!

There is much excitement in Class 1 today as we have had two butterflies emerge from their cocoons! 

Mrs Heath showed the children when they came in and then all the children had the chance to look carefully at the butterflies. Mrs Heath then talked about what the butterflies now need to help them continue to grow. Mrs Heath made up some sugar water and applied it to a sponge and gave the butterflies some fruit pieces to help them too, which we carefully put inside the net.

We can’t wait to see if more butterflies appear soon!
