What a busy morning Class 1 have had!

Wow, what a busy time all the children have been having in Class 1 this morning. Everyone has been working so hard and fantastically on their different learning activities. 
 

The children have been subitising the amount of dots on dominos in the maths area and sorting them onto different plates depending on whether they had 10 dots, more than 10 dots or less than 10 dots. 
 

As part of our RE topic, we found out about Palm Sunday and how it was the start of Holy Week. All the children then worked carefully to make their own palm cross. How brilliant do they look?

During time in our provision, everyone was on task and either worked together or by themselves beautifully. An elaborate castle was created using the duplo, books were shared with lots of discussions about where they would choose to go and what they would choose to do in their own fairytale and story. Lots of creative activities were enjoyed at the creative table and some fab phonics and reading was happening on the IWB. 

We also managed to have a lovely time outside using the various different resources and then enjoyed a well deserved lunch and time playing outside with friends in the other classes in school.
