Winter walk

We went on a winter walk to look at the changes since our Autumn walk last term.

It was very slippy so we formed a chain holding each others hands to slowly walk across our snowy frozen playground. We made different types of footprints and followed our tracks to get back to school.

We had a checklist to look out for and find signs of winter. We wrapped up warm as it was very chilly and kept ourselves moving to keep our bodies warmer. We listened to the ice crunching on the grass and found frozen cobwebs and explored the ice we found. There were lots of robins and squirrels to spot and we even found red berries and holly.
