Number fun in Class 1

What a brilliant start we have had to the term in Class 1 with our maths learning.

All the children have amazed me with their brilliant number knowledge and subitising skills.  We have been focusing on quick fire subitising for numbers up to 5, recognising numbers up to 5 in different representations and matching the correct amount of actions or items to the number rolled on our special 0 to 5 dice.   
 

We’ve also enjoyed spotting different shapes hiding within pictures and practising our counting to 100 song, which we love to move around to and do the different actions.
