What a fantastic and lovely way to start our day in Class 1. We were incredibly lucky to be asked to go to the hall to make our own Christingle ready for our Christingle service tomorrow afternoon.
We had to work carefully to put the candle in the orange and then place one sweet and one raisin on each cocktail stick. It was a little tricky as the sweets were quite hard and we took care not to hurt out fingers on the cocktail sticks but we all persevered and created a beautiful Christingle. We then put the cocktail sticks into the orange and with Mrs Philp or Mrs Baxter’s help, wrapped some red ribbon around the orange.
We can’t wait to share our Christingles with you tomorrow afternoon!
