Today in Science, we looked at what had happened to the eggs we had left in liquid for the past week.
The results were fascinating! The vinegar had completely dissolved the shell and the orange juice had made the egg crusty and if you touched it, the shell eroded away. Most of the children were correct in their predictions that vinegar would have the biggest effect. However, many were surprised that the coke did not damaged the egg as much as they’d expected.
What Class 3 were not impressed by were the smells!
Class 3 all pledged to clean their teeth everyday and drink more water.
