Designing and creating churches

Such fun was had this afternoon in Class 1 as the children worked together in small groups to design and build their own church. The children carefully thought about the distinctive features of churches we have been finding out about over the past few weeks in RE and worked hard to incorporate these features into their building.  

All the children worked brilliantly in their small groups, listened to their friends’ ideas, spent a long time creating and adapting their buildings throughout the session and were full of praise for their friends creations - fantastic work Class 1!
