Class 2 Active Maths

Today our Maths was very practical. Year 1 were sorting objects into equal groups. The pens could be split into groups of 2, 3 and 4. We tried to split into groups of 5 but there weren’t enough to make 3 equal groups. Year 2 were measuring different objects around school, choosing whether a metre stick or 30cm classroom ruler would be best. Well done everyone, what an active lesson!
