Class 2 Space centre Trip

Class 2 had a wonderful time on their trip today! 
We started by looking at what astronauts wear then explored a replica space shuttle and were able to see what is was like to sleep, eat and research in Space. We followed a timeline of space travel up to the present day and then took a lift to view a real space rocket, from the bottom up to the top, 4 stories high! We saw a real piece of moon rock when we finally reached the top. After lunch we learnt more about space travel from a Planetarium show. We had lots of fun and have gathered lots of facts to help us in our English work this week.
