Palm Sunday and palm crosses

This week in our RE session, we have been finding out about Palm Sunday and why it is important to Christians. We heard the story of Jesus arriving in Jerusalem and how people waved or put palm leaves on the floor as he passed by on the donkey. We then found out that in churches on Palm Sunday you may be given a palm cross and we saw some examples of palm crosses. All the children then had a go at making their own palm cross and did brilliantly! Fantastic work Class 1!
