In English we have been reading the book The Way Back Home by Oliver Jeffers. The children have really engaged with this beautiful story about a friendship between a little boy and a Martian. Today the class had the opportunity to create their own story maps based on the book. They had to change some elements of the story to make it their own and ensure that is was going to be an exciting adventure! After discussing their ideas in small groups the children set off to draw their story maps. They will be using these next week to write their stories. Well done Class 2!
