This morning in a English, we have been busy using a thesaurus to improve our vocabulary. We are focusing on the story ‘Escape from Pompeii’ Today we used the thesaurus to find more exciting words for shake. Some of the words we found were: shudder, quaking, trembling, grumbling and quiver. We used these words to create powerful poems about an earthquake.
