The Festival of Purim

In R.E class 2 have been learning about different festivals and celebrations. This week the children learnt about the Jewish Festival of Purim and how it is celebrated. They learnt about The Story of Esther and it’s importance to the Jewish festival. They also found out that families decorate their homes, eat special foods and enjoy dressing up in costumes and masks. The children made their own Purim masks and beautiful they were too! Well done Class 2!
