This week, Class 4 have started to create a piece of artwork that combines lots of different elements of our learning. We have learnt all about Roy Lichenstien (who used Ben Day dots in his artwork), Andy Warhol (who used bright colours and repeating images in his 'Pop Art' artwork), and have been writing persuasive speeches about becoming president of the USA. Combining these, we have chosen an American president, created a repeating pattern of them and started to use paint and a cotton bud to replicate Ben Day dots. We can't wait to show you the finished product!
