Making 2d and 3d shapes

Class 2 got hands on today with their shape work! Using cocktail sticks and playdoh they were given the tricky challenge to make 2d and 3d shapes. They worked together in pairs and showed great resilience, especially when some of their 3d shapes started to topple over! The children described the properties of their shapes, thinking about number of sides and vertices for 2d shapes and number of faces, vertices and edges for 3d shapes. Well done class two!
