Today Class 3 took part in Share A Pencil Day! We learnt about all the millions of children around the world who are still unable to go to school or access the education they deserve. We thought about how lucky we are in the UK to have great schools, teachers and friends. To end the session we thought about how lucky we are and what we enjoy about school by creating our own “I love school because...” poster. The twist was... the children only had the opportunity to use one pencil between two of them... to make them appreciate how lucky they are to have access to all the resources, books etc that we have in school, that other children across the world don’t always have access to. Some children found this really difficult!
