Natural Art

Today we used some natural materials to create a beautiful piece of art. 

First we got some fabric then went outdoors to collect leaves and flowers. There are some beautiful flowers in our school grounds - forget me nots , daisies, dandelions, celandine, blue bell, buttercup and blossom. 

Next we placed our our materials in a design in between the fabric. We then bashed it with a big pebble to get the dye out of the leaves and flowers. 

I think  you’ll agree the almost finished piece of art is beautiful. After it has dried we will make it into a cushion or frame it as a picture. 

We had great fun doing this and want to do it again!
