What an amazing day we’ve had celebrating the launch of our ‘Recommended Reading books’. The day started with a mystery parcel arriving to the school office. It had small holes on the box and was labelled fragile. The children made some excellent predictions as to what could be inside. We opened the box and discovered a little meerkat inside. We had so many questions we wanted to ask our new visitor. Shortly after this a second parcel arrived and inside was a letter and a book….Meerkat Mail! We spent the rest of the day completing lots of activities linked to our new book and we even took him on a tour around our school. We’ve had a super day exploring our fantastic new books and look forward to showing you them at home too.
