Today we have been making bird feeders to hang in our outdoor area. We know that it is very important that the birds get enough food during the winter months.
We mixed melted lard and bird seed together to make the feeders. Once they have set, we will tie some string around them so that we can hang them in the trees. It was very messy but we enjoyed feeling the different textures.
