Addition using the part whole model

Year One have been working very hard continuing their work on addition. They have enjoyed using practical resources to add amounts. This has helped them to fully grasp the concept of addition aswell as the part whole model and how it is used. There has been lots of fantastic team work and some excellent mathematical vocabulary being used during the lessons. Well done Year One!
