The Great Fire of London

Class 2 have made a wonderful start to their new topic,The Great Fire of London. They have started to learn some key facts about this historical event and will be continuing to expand their knowledge over the next few weeks. In art this week the children enjoyed using oil pastels and black sugar paper to create a scene of the blazing fire spreading across the city of London.  They also used adjectives to describe how the fire may have looked, felt and smelt. We are so proud of their amazing work and have created a display in our school hall for all our friends, teachers and visitors to see. Well done class 2!
