Class 1 learnt all about plants and what they need to grow. We went on a walk around the school grounds to see where plants were growing and also looked at where they weren't growing. We found out about what plants need to grow and be healthy.
We planted our own cress seeds in trays, we lined the bottoms with cotton wool so the seeds had something to hold onto and we spread them around carefully so each seed had enough room to grow too! We chose a sunny spot in our classroom and watered the trays.
We also created 4 tester pots to create a science experiment,
1 = no water
2 = no sunlight
3 = planted in soil
4 = no water and no sunlight
