This week is sensory week at nursery, the children have been taking part in lots of sensory play, we’ve had bags filled with shaving foam and paints for mixing, oil and sea creatures, buttons and pom poms, then on Tuesday the children took part in a sensory bare foot walk, they had such fun and used descriptive language, such as; slimey, crunchy, slippy, soft and crunchy.
Outside this week the children have created a car and a caravan out of our large loose parts and have enjoyed imaginative play, going on their holidays to the seaside.
On Thursday we are looking forward to our Easter egg hunt and a visit from the Easter bunny at the weekend as part of our fundraising events. We would like to wish everyone a very happy and safe Easter.
