We're coming back to school!
I just wanted to say a massive thank you and well done for your approach to home learning since January. You have all done a fantastic job of keeping up to date with your work and attending our Google Meets each day. You have made myself and Miss Vivash extremely proud with your mature and sensible approach to learning from home.
Parents we would also like to that this opportunity to thank you all so much for supporting your child’s learning. Never did we expect a year ago, that our young people would be taught from home for such a long time! You have done an incredible job, balancing your own work, the running of the house and other children, and we cannot thank you enough!
Next week we will return to school and we can hopefully gain back our usual routines and enjoy the positive impact school life has on our young children. First day nerves are expected (including my own), but please do your best to reassure your child that everything will be okay, and nobody will be upset with them about missing or uncompleted work.
Please when you return to school next week bring with you on Monday the following items:
- All of your maths workbooks
- All of your used blue exercise books
- Your Guided Reading Book (The Non-Fiction book used in the first term)
- The Guided Reading Chapters and Follow-Ups sent out in February.
- Any school reading books that your child has at home
- Your child's pencil case with as much of the equipment sent home inside (please don't worry if you have lost items, we will replenish these cases on Monday).
At this moment, please do not worry about the condition or completion of any of these materials, we will just use them to help structure our learning approach for the rest of the academic term.
Also, our PE sessions will remain on Wednesday's and Thursday's so we ask that your child comes in their PE kits on these days ONLY.
