Image of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...Blast Off!

After the space ship crash landing this week, we experimented with different ways of making spaceships and rockets. We thought the aliens may use our designs to build their own, so we designed two rockets and tested them to see which material was the best. We made our own experiment that needed to be fair, the children said we must all start from the same line to make it fair so we could easily see which rockets flew the furthest. We found out lots of facts about how we could make them go further and even how we could change the design so that they did loops in the air! We had so much fun...but one of our results did show that if your rocket flew into a puddle...it wasn’t very aerodynamic after that!
