Today the children enjoyed a physical maths lesson. They worked in teams to complete an obstacle course where they had to collect and solve some subtraction word problems. The children were absolutely amazing, showing great team work and really listening to one another’s contributions. They demonstrated some excellent subtraction strategies as well as showing off their competitive side! A great lesson Year 1!
