Today the children in Year 1 have been working together with their friends to solve some tricky subtraction word problems. They highlighted the important information they needed to help them solve the problem and together, using their strategy of counting back, they worked out the answer. They ended their lesson by creating their own subtraction number stories. Fantastic work Year 1!
