What can you hear?

This week at playgroup the children have been using their listening ears and starting our letters and sounds program. They have listened carefully to all the different sounds they heard whilst on the playground, they have listened when one of their friends was talking and they had to try and guess who`s voice it was. We have also watched a video of Fireworks and created our own using scratch art and paints. Some of the children on Wednesday created their own volcanos using bicarbonate of soda, vinegar and food colouring, it was fun to see what happened. We have also celebrated a couple of children`s birthdays this week and enjoyed chocolate cake as a treat.
