We worked really well as a team today to make pumpkin soup! First the Eco council went and harvested the pumpkins from our vegetable garden. After cleaning them, they gave them to our cook, who invited a small group of children to make the soup. They chopped the pumpkins in half and scraped our the seeds to toast later. Then then cut the pumpkin into smaller chunks and boiled with onions and some spices. Once it was cooked, they used a blender to mix all the veg together and make it smooth. When it was cool they invited Miss Jarrett to share some with them, apparently it was delicious!
