We now have butterflies!

After a new batch of baby caterpillars just before Easter when the children returned the caterpillars had all made cocoons and over the last 2 days the children have been able to watch in awe as the butterflies began to emerge. One butterfly began to come out early in the pot so we were able to take the lid off and watch it push it's way out of the cocoon right before our eyes. The children have been excited to make nectar water for them and add in fruit and flowers for the butterflies to enjoy and feed on.
