We're Going on a Bear Hunt!

Class 1 went on a barefoot walk through the pages of the story We're Going on a Bear Hunt. 

We have been reading and acting out the story this week and we took our story outside, took our shoes and socks off and felt the different textures underneath our toes - long wavy grass, deep cold river, thick oozy mud, big dark forest and a swirling whirling snowstorm. At the end we came to a narrow and gloomy cave that we crawled through!

The children enjoyed exploring the story in a very exciting way!

Afterwards the children wrote how each of the textures felt on their feet.
