This week as part of our People who Help Us topic, we are thinking about Dentists and keeping our teeth healthy.
We have had a lot of fun today painting teeth with toothbrushes, flossing dirty teeth at our funky fingers table, making toothbrushes for our Monster Phonics teddies and cleaning different water creatures in our water tray with tooth brushes.
In literacy and science this afternoon we have found out more about how to care for our teeth and have completed an experiment using apples to see what happens if the enamel in our teeth is damaged. We are going to find out the results tomorrow!
Tomorrow we will continue to explore how to keep our teeth healthy by practising brushing our teeth correctly, thinking which foods and drinks help our teeth stay strong and healthy and those which can be bad for our teeth if we have too much of them and having more fun with different teeth based activities.
