This afternoon, we enjoyed our maths session in our outdoor classroom. We have been exploring the teen numbers 11, 12 and 13 this week and noticing how teen numbers are made up of 1 ten and then a certain number of 1’s.
Today each child was given a number up to 13 and asked to go and get that amount and then show that amount on two ten frames. It was really clear to see how many tens and ones each number was made up of.
