Our new question  in RE for this half term is Why do Christians put a cross in the Easter garden?

To start finding out the answer, today in RE Class 1 thought about why a cross is an important symbol to Christians. The children found out how Jesus died on a cross and that the cross represents for love, sacrifice, forgiveness and a new start.

The children ended looking at lots of different examples of Christian crossed and then had such fun designing their own special and colourful cross.

Well done Class 1!
