Saying goodbye to our beautiful butterflies!

This morning we released our butterflies in the sunshine and said as so lovely to see our butterflies up close and some of us were lucky enough to hold our butterflies. 
 

We allowed the butterflies to warm up in the sunshine then we had the opportunity to try and hold our butterflies carefully, some butterflies loved being held but some were very keen to explore the outside area and find some nectar on the plants. We enjoyed seeing them fly off to find their new homes and places to explore. 
 

Class 1 have had such an amazing time caring and watching the caterpillars grow and change while learning about the process of metamorphosis. 
 

We will miss the butterflies in Class 1!
