Minibeast hunt

In science and topic lessons Class 1 have been learning all about minibeasts.

Today we had a Big Word Alert in our science lesson where we learnt what the words Invertebrate and Anthropoid mean. We explored what makes up an insect and what the minibeasts needs to have to be classed as an insect.

We went on a minibeast hunt in our school grounds and forest school area. We were looking to see where abouts each minibeasts could be found.
