Today in our maths activity, Class 1 were exploring the concept of 1 less than. We used some snowmen stick puppets and a fantastic song to help us work out 1 less than a given number. The children loved being either a snowman or a sun and making one snowman melt away at a time. They were all really confident at recognising which number was 1 less than a given number.
