Diwali

We have been learning all about Diwali this week.

We watched a video of a family preparing and celebrating Diwali and watched the story of Rama and Sita. We made our own Festival of Light lanterns and explored textures creating some Rangoli patterns. The children enjoyed building temples and buildings with the wooden blocks, roleplaying in our small world, exploring our sensory tray and making loose part rangoli patterns.
