Real Superheroes

Class 1 have been learning about Real Superheroes this week in our topic.

We found out about different occupations and how essential they are and how we call them superheroes!

Today we focused on emergency workers and in particular doctors, nurses, carers and paramedics. We had fun acting out scenarios in our small world with ambulances and injured toy figures, then testing out our first aid skills on our friends. We had some brilliant and caring children looking after each other and tending to the babies and teddies. We did have a few midwives on call too!

We also found a real stethoscope in our doctors kit and everyone managed to hear each others heartbeats, we were fascinated!
