The children will be asked to come in dressed as an Egyptian - anything they like from a Pharaoh or queen to a slave, the choice is theirs! They may even choose something more modern such as a Victorian Egyptologist on a dig in the Valley of Kings. We will be taking part in a series of activities inspired by our learning so far such as creating an Egyptian neck collar to wear and having a ‘dress the mummy’ competition.
There is no cost to this day, but we hope you will be able to source a costume to help create an exciting atmosphere. There are lots of ideas online, and a simple white dress/shorts and t-shirt with a gold, blue or patterned scarf around the waist would be a quick home made option.
